Hi, we're Maca and Coni, creators of Úpale 🩵✨, which was born from a deep need ❤️‍🩹, the kind you only understand when you're a mom of two 👶👧

Before finding a solution, we tried the usual: using our older brother's skateboard. But honestly, it was uncomfortable. Going up and down stairs was really difficult 😩.

For us, who live far from our families and travel a lot, the logistics were even more complicated. A double stroller was never an option; too big, too heavy, impossible to take on the plane or move around freely ✈️😵‍💫.

In the midst of that very real exhaustion, we were looking for something that would make motherhood more bearable ✨🍃.

And it was there, amidst searches and inspiration, that we saw a similar product abroad.

It "clicked" with us, but we also felt that many things needed improvement: materials, design, comfort, and safety.

At first we did it just for ourselves, to survive walks, trips and everyday life 🙌🩵

But other moms started seeing us and asking for one too.

That's when we realized it wasn't just our need... it was the need of many families 🩵.

Thus began our journey: searching for Chilean suppliers, reviewing materials, designing, sewing, and making 🧵🇨🇱.

We made and unmade prototypes, fine-tuned details, and tested a thousand times.

Because we had a very clear rule:

“If we don’t use it with our own children, we don’t offer it to others” ☝️

Today we can proudly say that our children love their hammock, and that is the heart of Úpale 🩵✨.

Úpale was born out of love, out of need, from two moms who just wanted to walk a little lighter and enjoy life more 🩵.

And yes, also from an intense motherhood, with travel, challenges, food allergies and days where it seems like you can't take it anymore... but you keep going ❤️‍🩹.

We continue to create because we deeply believe that motherhood is better experienced when we have tools that support and accompany us 🤲✨.

The little dog in our logo is a tribute to the companion who was with Maca for 12 years and passed away during the creation of Úpale. He cared for, played with, and kept our children company 🐾🩵 We love to think that he continues to accompany us every step of the way.
